After our first snow day the first thing I did was grab this plastic sled Jon Paul found for free on the curb last Summer to take it out for a spin. Only flaw in the plan? There aren't any hills... so he mostly pulled me around.
Some leftovers turned housewarming gift for a friend.
I love that he sleeps like this now! Wedged between my two pillows. *heart breaking emoji*
A failed self timer family portrait.
My second attempt at making posole. Still something missing!! It lacks depth... (that's chef talk for "it's not that great"). But I'll get there!
Pictured plant has since passed away... rest in peace, my dish washing pal.
My current phone wallpaper. Makes me happy :) I need these little things.
Watched Coco a few days after it came out and I was just... I have no words. It was amazing, filled me with pride. Also, fun fact: the voice of Hector is Gael Garcia Bernal (my #1 celebrity crush!!)
You know, just being a nosy ass neighbor, the worst kind.
I made the centerpieces for my department's holiday party. It was nice to have a couple days where I didn't do computer things and just worked with my hands.
Pierre was game for a cliché, Fall Insta picture.
Waiting for me to stop tryna be cute so he can just go for his damn walk already. Sheesh!
Somerville homes at their finest.
Our hallway needs some major TLC. I can already tell this is going to be like a... 3 month project (currently on month 2) haha!
I got back from Mexico less than one week ago (cue the tears and sad mariachi music) so I'll be back to share pictures of my trip. All for you, weird online journal which strangers sometimes read...
